Is my data really private?
Yes. Ovaly stores everything on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics. We literally cannot see your data — by design.
How accurate are the predictions?
Ovaly's Bayesian prediction engine starts with population averages and improves with every cycle you log. By cycle 3, predictions are typically accurate within ±2 days. The app honestly shows confidence intervals — not false certainty.
Can I use Ovaly as a contraceptive method?
No. Ovaly is a wellness app, not a medical device. Fertile-window predictions are informational only and must never be used as a method of birth control. For contraception, please consult a qualified healthcare provider.
What HealthKit data does Ovaly read?
With your explicit permission, Ovaly can read wrist temperature, basal body temperature, heart rate variability (HRV), cervical mucus quality, and ovulation test results. These signals improve prediction accuracy. You can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Ovaly.
How do I delete all my data?
Two ways: open Ovaly → Settings → Reset All Data, or simply uninstall the app. There is nothing on our side to delete because nothing leaves your phone.
Is Ovaly really free?
The full cycle tracker is free forever — no subscription, no ads, no hidden fees. A future Ovaly Plus upgrade with the Advanced Insights Dashboard and Premium Doctor Report PDF is on our roadmap as a one-time in-app purchase (no subscription, ever). Until then the full app is yours, free — and you'll never be required to upgrade.
What languages does Ovaly support?
English, German (Deutsch), and Croatian (Hrvatski). The app follows your iPhone's system language automatically.
Why isn't Ovaly available on Android?
Right now Ovaly is iPhone-only because the privacy guarantees rely on Apple's on-device storage and HealthKit framework. We may consider Android in the future, but only if we can offer the same privacy architecture there.
